The contest took place at the wonderful Hippodrome of Cote D'Azur in the lovely beach side town of Cagnes-sur-Mer.
It was a unique opportunity to have a venue that is as popular in Southern France as all over the World.
We have to use this opportunity to thank it again to the absolute perfect work of our official WNSF France Partner - Jonathan Renaud who has worked hand in hand with the officials of the Hippodrome.
Nine teams participated from all over the world. Two athletes represented their own country:
1. USA/John Dennis and Lou Costa
2. Sweden/John Pasanen, Henrik Eghl
3. Scotland/Jack Lowett, Kye Thomas
4. England/Adam Hales, Phillip A. Manning
5. Romania/Marian and Chrsitian Lighean
6. Poland/Jarek Korzeniewski, Adam Zuchowski
7. Hungary 1/Laszlo and Miklos Fekete
8. France/Jonathan Renaud, Cyril Boujuau
9. Hungary 2/Laszlo Fekete JR., Richard Fekete
The referee of the contest was the official WNSF Referee, Frank Lazar
The contest was a first of its kind in the world due to the simple fact that while the athletes showed their colossal strenght to the hundreds of spectators during the breaks between events, horse racing took place for the sports betting public also. It was a unique double show for the public who has never seen this sport closely.

The events were Atlas Stone, Tire Flip, Farmers Walk, Weight Walk, Yoke and Power Stairs.
1. Atlas Stone
120kg, 130kg, 150kg, 170kg and 190kg
2. Tire Flip
400kg and 500kg
3. Farmers Walk
130kg and 150kg
4. Weight Walk 150kg combined with
Yoke 440kg
5. Power Stairs
180kg, 200kg, 225kg, 300kg and 330kg
After four and a half hours of hard fight with the weights versus time the athletes have finished the competition with the following final result:
1. Hungary 1
2. Poland
3. Hungary 2
4. USA
5. Sweden
6. France
7. Scotland
